The role of a Security Systems Professional oversees the Electronic Security Systems used to monitor and maintain safety and security of detainees, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety and security by overseeing operations of Electronic Security Systems.
  • Provide technical leadership, project management and procurement guidance for security systems.
  • Built strong relationships with stakeholders including vendors, contractors and consultants involved in security systems management.
  • Deliver high quality strategic advice, briefings, reports and written material relating to information, security, and business systems portfolios.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5-7 years experience in security systems operations or administration.
  • Territory qualifications or graduate/Bachelor's degree in System Administration, ICT Systems Management or similar field.
  • Experience in Corrections or similar Government agencies desirable.
  • Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Excel and crystal reporting highly desirable.
  • Current registration under Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 required.
  • Current Driver's Licence required.
