About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Data Processor to join our team at Mma Offshore Limited. As a key member of our data processing team, you will be responsible for conducting planning, processing, and production of survey data, ensuring quality concerning client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct data processing and production, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Work under the direction of the Data Centre Supervisor on data processing progress, issues, and workflows
  • Contribute to company documentation, procedures, and training development of processing systems
  • Support ongoing quality and efficiency improvements
Requirements
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree, specifically Surveying or Marine Science, or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Demonstrated safety management awareness
  • Ability to use established systems (Quality and Safety)
  • Capable of building and sustaining effective relationships
Desirable Skills
  • MS Office suite
  • QPS suite of products (Qinsy, Qimera, FMGT, FM)
  • Caris HIPS (or similar bathymetry processing system)
  • Surface and subsea navigation and positioning systems and navigation processing
  • Basic knowledge of GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial data concepts
  • AutoCAD (or similar CAD system)
  • Experience with GIS software, database management, or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL)
