Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Hospitality Professional to join our team as a Food Services Officer. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents, preparing and serving meals, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation and Service: Assist with food preparation, cooking, and serving meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, and kitchen facilities to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Laundry and Linen Management: Assist with laundry and linen management, including washing, drying, and ironing resident clothing and linens.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a hospitality or food services role, preferably in a care or aged care setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and management.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
