Make a Lasting Impact as an Employment Specialist


This is a unique opportunity to work with individuals with mental health conditions and support them in achieving their employment goals.


As an Employment Specialist, you will be responsible for providing tailored, person-centred support that empowers participants to succeed in their careers.


You will:

  • Deliver services using the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model, a proven approach to employment for people with mental illness.
  • Support participants through every step of their journey, from vocational profiling to job search, placement, and ongoing support.
  • Strive to exceed individual and team performance targets, delivering sustainable employment outcomes and contributing to the overall success of the service.
  • Build strong relationships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with NDIS providers and other stakeholders to ensure wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing.
  • Monitor outcomes, keep accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Celebrate participant successes and foster resilience, confidence, and long-term achievement.
