Full Time Store Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Full Time Store Assistant. This position plays a pivotal part in delivering sales and store contribution targets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the store, alongside and in the absence of the Store Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales and store contribution targets set on a financial year basis.
  • Team Development: Develop and lead a cohesive and effective team, ensuring all staff members feel valued and supported.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a safe and welcoming environment is maintained for customers and staff at all times.
  • Inventory Management: Manage stock, donations, and inventory to achieve optimal results for customers.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for all staff, focusing on skill enhancement and career progression.
Key Requirements:
  • Retail Supervisory Experience: Proven experience in a retail supervisory role, with a strong understanding of sales and customer service principles.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service Standards: Knowledge of customer service standards, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • OSH Considerations: Understanding of OSH considerations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
