About Us

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Peer Support Coach to join our team. As a Peer Support Coach, you will work closely with individuals who require support to build skills, try new things, and feel more confident and connected in the world.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting individuals while they engage in social or community activities
  • Assisting individuals to become more independent with daily tasks
  • Reinforcing therapy activities or skill-building goals
  • Helping individuals develop strategies to improve their communication and mobility

We are looking for someone who is kind, thoughtful, and dependable, with a strong commitment to providing excellent support services. You should have a good understanding of the communities we serve and be able to communicate effectively with them.

About You:

We are seeking someone who has:

  • Lived experience of neurodivergence and/or being LGBTQIASB+
  • Insight into the barriers faced by the communities we serve
  • A communication style that is respectful and supportive
  • A driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle (for local travel)
  • Experience in disability support, community work, or a related field (an advantage, but not essential)
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain one)
