Job Summary

This role leads a team of Cabin Cleaning staff and assists in delivering cabin cleaning services to airline customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct their team towards achieving exceptional results.

About the Role

The Cabin Cleaning Lead is responsible for ensuring that all cabin cleaning services are delivered to the highest standards, while maintaining a safe and secure work environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering cabin cleaning services on behalf of Star Aviation customers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times.
  • Leading a team of Cabin Cleaning staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including KPIs and time sheets, to ensure timely invoicing and compliance.
  • Liaising with airline representatives to understand specific requirements and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ensuring the safe and secure operation of all equipment, including GSE, and arranging for repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Developing and implementing effective workforce planning strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Identifying and resolving problems and conflicts within the team, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Providing training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in a customer-facing or service-oriented industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • A strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures, with the ability to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
