The Internal Audit Technology, Data & Automation (TDA) team is tasked with managing key risks within these areas. By using cutting-edge technology, data analytics, and automation, you will work closely with senior management and global teams to ensure business areas meet strategic objectives and stakeholder interests are safeguarded.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of audit engagements across the business with a particular focus on technology, data, and automation.
* Contribute to the development of the annual Audit Plan and ensure resource allocation aligns with the risk profile of business areas.
* Collaborate with senior technology management and other stakeholders to deliver sustainable control solutions that effectively manage risk.
* Provide high-quality audit reports, offering assurance to management on the effectiveness of risk controls.
* Work closely with colleagues across the global internal audit team, leveraging your excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of key risk management frameworks, operational risk, compliance, and delivery risk.
* Extensive experience leading technology-focused audits and reviewing complex technology environments, ideally within large organizations.
* In-depth experience within the banking and financial services sector, specifically related to technology risk management would be favourable but not essential.
* Hands-on experience with cloud-based environments, CI/CD pipelines, and advanced data analytics to assess and design audit controls would be highly regarded but again, not essential.
* Proven ability to manage and lead concurrent audit teams and influence senior stakeholders across global teams, whilst also completing audit fieldwork.
