About the Role

This key position is responsible for ensuring our stores are in pristine condition, collecting trolleys, and supporting store operations with waste processing routines.

The ideal candidate will have an ambitious mindset, a love of retail, and a passion to grow their career in cleaning and trolley collection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete allocated tasks such as sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team room, and emptying bins
  • Collecting trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas
  • Work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs
  • Support customers by answering questions or providing directions
Requirements:
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, involving physically demanding tasks. The ability to comfortably handle physical requirements is crucial to ensure success and maintain a safe working environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs
  • Flexibility to work in different environments such as shop floors, fridges, freezers, and carparks
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm
  • Good eye for cleanliness and small details
