Wound Management Business Development Lead

The successful candidate will have strong sales experience in medical sales, proven ability to work and present to all levels of Aged Care, Primary Care, and Community Nursing, and solid understanding of how to partner with wholesalers and distributors. An in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry in Australia, particularly wound care or related areas, is also essential.
About the RoleThis role offers a rewarding opportunity to lead business development initiatives, manage strategic wholesaler and corporate partnerships, and contribute to the growth of our Advanced Wound Management products. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing strong strategic partnerships with high-priority accounts;
- Conducting regular business reviews with strategic partners to retain and grow existing business;
- Actively identifying new accounts to acquire in key market segments that Smith+Nephew operates in;
- Achieving sales targets with strategic wholesalers and corporate accounts on a quarterly and annual basis;
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to support growth with high-value accounts and strategic projects.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders. You will also require a strong understanding of the healthcare industry in Australia, particularly wound care or related areas, and the ability to identify opportunities for growth and development.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including superannuation, paid annual leave, and professional development opportunities.
