Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Team Leader to join our team at our LEGO Certified Store in Parramatta. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales, achieving KPI results, and building a high-performing team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead by Example: Work closely with the Store Manager to create a store roster that meets daily traffic needs and optimises team resources.
  2. Develop Your Team: Provide constructive feedback and coaching to build a collaborative and result-driven team environment.
  3. Sales and Customer Service: Support the Store Manager to achieve high results in sales and customer service expectations set by the Support Office team.
  4. Inventory Management: Ensure efficient inventory management, including stocktakes and cycle counts.
  5. Visual Merchandising: Implement visual merchandising standards and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  6. Culture and Engagement: Foster a positive, collaborative team culture that promotes a safe and fun atmosphere.
  7. Recruitment and Development: Work closely with the Store Manager on in-store recruitment, training, and team development for future career opportunities.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail environment.
  • Ability to build a high-performing and result-driven team in sales and customer experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate professionalism while maintaining a fun, encouraging, and welcoming team environment.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented individual who can demonstrate success in achieving KPIs within a retail atmosphere.
  • Able to develop, inspire, and coach a small team of retail professionals and connect them to the essence of the LEGO brand.

Estimated Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
