We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Outback Operations Coordinator, working directly for Glencore in a challenging and rewarding environment.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.

About the Role

This is a permanent position that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As an Outback Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pastoral station, including:

  • Livestock Management: Mustering of pastoral livestock across some of the most beautiful open land in Australia;
  • Maintenance: Undertaking regular windmill and water point inspections, ensuring the homestead and vehicles are maintained to a clean and tidy standard;
  • Environmental and Safety Compliance: Adhering to all Environmental and Safety policies and procedures.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in the Agriculture and Pastoral Industry, with a focus on handling cattle;
  • Knowledge and experience in fencing, stock water points, and general property and vehicle maintenance;
  • A basic understanding of computer systems;
  • A valid C Class Manual Licence (HR or HC advantageous);
  • Experience operating Loaders, Graders, Bobcats, and small excavators (desirable);
  • The ability to meet the physical demands of a pastoral station, including exposure to high temperatures.
