Job Summary

As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly residents. This part-time position involves assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring their health needs, and engaging them in social and recreational activities.

Responsibilities
  • Daily Living Activities: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Health Monitoring: Monitor and record residents' health, dietary, and personal care needs, providing timely interventions when necessary.
  • Social Engagement: Engage residents in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities, enhancing their wellbeing and quality of life.
  • Environment Maintenance: Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents, adhering to all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the broader care team, fostering trust and respect.

Qualifications
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred care to elderly residents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • A caring, compassionate, and empathetic nature.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
