Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team at Global Skilled Employment Services. As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for completing hands-on activities to fabricate, assemble, erect, test, maintain and/or repair equipment and components in line with industry best practices, company standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to electrical engineering problems.
  • Ensure adherence to Workplace Health & Safety and Quality procedures.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in electrical engineering technology or similar.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an electrical technician in a related industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ability to work within a team environment with the ability to take direction.
  • Good communications skills essential.
  • Demonstrated integrity and good presentation.
  • A professional work attitude.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior attendance.
  • High focus & attention to detail.
