We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher to join our school community. This four-day-a-week position (Tuesday to Friday) offers an opportunity to implement evidence-based teaching practices, ensuring every student reaches their full potential in all aspects of their development.

Applicants will be highly motivated and committed to supporting staff in raising outcomes for all students through rigorous, high-impact approaches to planning and teaching. They will use ongoing assessment to check for understanding, differentiate teaching, and plan next steps in learning. Collaborative work to implement whole-school approaches consistently and take collective responsibility for all students is essential.

Applicants will be committed to ongoing professional learning and growth, ensuring they maintain and build on contemporary evidence-based approaches. This includes coaching, classroom observation, and feedback.

Selection Criteria
  • Possess demonstrated excellence in teaching and classroom management as a dynamic, innovative, and reflective practitioner.
  • Understand and be able to differentiate the teaching and learning program to cater for student needs.
  • Ability to continuously analyze and use data to inform teaching and learning practices to raise student achievement.
  • Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
  • Be a positive, professional, and enthusiastic teacher who demonstrates initiative, a growth mindset, and a desire to continue improving.
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the NQS, Western Australian, and Australian Curriculum.
  • A deep understanding, commitment to, and application of evidence-based educational practice.
  • Be highly proficient in the use and integration of ICT skills, especially iPads.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to contributing actively to the life of the school.
Qualifications Required
  • Applicants must be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
  • Relevant four-year tertiary qualification (ECE qualification).
  • Accreditation to Teach Religious Education Learning Area (or the ability to achieve).
