  • We provide practical assistance with household tasks, personal care, and paperwork as required by each individual.
  • The health needs of the people we support are carefully monitored and met through administering medication and conducting temperature checks.
  • We encourage participation in hobbies and interests, helping them develop new skills and pursue employment opportunities.
  • Lifelong learning is also promoted through teaching essential life skills like budgeting and bill payment.
  • Helping with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and maintaining housing tenancy is another key aspect of our role.
  • We facilitate access to community facilities and ensure inclusivity in community groups for the individuals we support.
  • Understanding and adapting communication methods according to each individual's needs is critical to building strong relationships.
  • Collaboration with healthcare professionals like doctors and therapists is essential for delivering consistent support.
  • We develop tailored support plans based on a thorough analysis of an individual's needs.
  • We aim to become both role models and companions to those we support, discovering shared interests and planning enjoyable outings.
  • To be successful in this role you will require: 1 year experience as a Support Worker; Australian Driver's License; Australian National Police Check; CERT III or IV in Age Care and Disability; First Aid Certification; Working With Children Check (WWCC); NDIS Worker Orientation Module; NDIS Worker's Check.
