Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Project Officer Aged. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the strategic objectives of our organization, focusing on primary healthcare and community wellbeing. They will develop and coordinate activities related to older people's health, aged care, and palliative care.

The role will have a dual focus on implementing the Aged Care On-site Pharmacist Measure (ACOP) in residential aged care homes and coordinating engagement and support for the Allied Health sector in Western NSW. The position will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful planning and delivery of both projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and skilled individual who can work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with experience in developing and coordinating projects related to aged care and primary healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the ACOP in residential aged care homes
  • Coordinate engagement and support for the Allied Health sector in Western NSW
  • Develop and implement project plans and timelines
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals
  • Monitor and report on project progress

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a degree in a relevant field, such as public health or healthcare management. They should also have significant experience in project management, particularly in the aged care sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
