Job Overview

The QLD Road Manager is a pivotal role within our Intermodal team, leading all aspects of Intermodal Road Operations in Queensland.

  • Ensuring profitability and key performance indicators align with customer contractual requirements and KPIs for each QLD contract
  • Fostering and expanding existing customer relationships to drive increased business opportunities
  • Continuously exploring operational synergies nationwide to implement cost-saving improvement initiatives benefiting the company and customers
  • Collaborating with Senior Management to establish operating parameters for QLD operations, guiding operational teams to achieve planned outcomes
  • Supervising operational teams to optimize labor and fleet utilization while ensuring compliance with relevant industrial regulations

This position requires five years' hands-on expertise in logistics management, with an emphasis on Road Transport Operations. The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Proficient understanding of industrial instruments, coupled with adeptness in P&L procedures
  • Strong communication skills adaptable to various audiences, coupled with influencing skills and a customer-centric approach
  • Sound IT proficiency and financial acumen, complemented by a track record in overseeing multi-site operations and engaging multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (PPT, Word & Excel)
