Orthopaedic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Staff Specialist Doctor to join our Surgical and Perioperative division. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking elective and trauma components of Orthopaedic Surgery.

You will provide assessment and treatment to patients of Albury Wodonga Health Orthopaedic Services, as well as direct responsibility to the Emergency Department orthopaedic patients. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to provide supervision, support, and training of medical students, junior medical officers, and registrars on-site in theatres, wards, and clinics.

• Undertake elective and trauma components of Orthopaedic Surgery
• Provide assessment and treatment to patients of Albury Wodonga Health Orthopaedic Services
• Direct responsibility to the Emergency Department orthopaedic patients
• Supervise, support, and train medical students, junior medical officers, and registrars

• Primary medical qualification permitting registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
• Recognised Fellowship permitting Specialist level registration
• Experience in orthopaedic elective and emergency surgery practice
• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to clinical quality improvement and peer review
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical and other health service colleagues
