Job Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior Payroll Professional to join our team. As a Junior Payroll Professional, you will be responsible for assisting in the processing of payroll for a diverse workforce, maintaining up-to-date employee records, and supporting compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Support compliance with payroll regulations and company policies
  • Read and understand different awards and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs)
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll legislation
  • Respond promptly to payroll queries

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience in payroll or a related finance/admin role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment
  • Full working rights in Australia (Permanent Residents/Citizens only)
  • Effective communication skills
