Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Surface Water Engineer Flood Modeller to join our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver surface water engineering projects to a diverse range of clients across various sectors.
  • Apply hydrologic and hydraulic modelling software to develop innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop models and prepare quality reports for internal and external clients, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships between internal and external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, methodologies, and value propositions to support clients in meeting their objectives.
Requirements:
  • Appropriate Engineering tertiary qualification and relevant industry experience.
  • Extensive experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, particularly application of two-dimensional hydraulic modelling (TUFLOW).
  • Experience in hydrological modelling and assessments (DRAINS, RORB, WBNM, and XP RAFTS) and understanding of Australian Rainfall and Runoff and relevant guidelines and standards.
  • Knowledge and experience of associated areas of surface water engineering, such as stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, water quality assessment, streamflow assessments, and flood risk analysis.
