Job Title: Legal Counsel

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled legal professional to join our in-house legal team and provide high-quality legal support across corporate and commercial matters.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering reliable, precise, and practical legal advice to professionals across the business. Your work will span client-based matters as well as operational needs of the organisation, with a focus on contractual risk management and compliance.

  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating consulting contracts within agreed timeframes.
  • Analysing contract requirements and provisions to manage risk and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Contributing to contract improvement, training, compliance initiatives, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Aligning contracts with business goals and objectives.
  • Coordinating contract negotiations, amendments, and addendums while ensuring key deadlines are met.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, with strong commercial and contract law expertise in a project-oriented environment.
  • Sound understanding of Australian corporate legal, governance, and contract management frameworks.
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organisational and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure without compromising quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
