Job Title: Associate Nurse Unit Manager

Job Description

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager plays a pivotal role in providing clinical leadership to staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

In collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager, the ANUM assumes key responsibilities including acting as a professional and clinical role model for staff, accepting administrative operations, and undertaking designated management portfolios and projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Leadership: Provides expert guidance and direction to ensure high-quality nursing care is delivered.
  • Person-Centred Care: Ensures patient needs are met through effective communication, empathy, and respect.
  • Staff Management: Develops and implements strategies to improve staff engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Administrative Operations: Oversees unit administration, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Project Management: Leads and coordinates projects to drive quality improvement, efficiency, and innovation.
