We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including major events, libraries, and venue hire services.
This role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure value for money across various projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and council policies and procedures for tendering and contract activities.
- This is a dynamic role that requires managing competing priorities to meet deadlines and operating within a matrix organization compliant with legislation and competitive practices.
- You will have the opportunity to support process improvements and develop Strategic Category Management Plans.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or tertiary qualification and experience in a busy procurement team within a complex organization. You should possess resilience and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- You must enjoy multi-tasking and roles with variety, where no two days or projects are the same.
Benefits:
- A salary range of approximately $141,000 per annum.
- Flexible working arrangements with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, with Tuesday and Wednesday as mandatory office days.
- All standard permanent employee benefits on a pro-rata basis, including annual and personal leave, one paid day off every four weeks, and three paid 'Care and Culture' days annually.
