Internal Medicine Head Vet Nurse Opportunity at Greencross Vets
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Veterinary Nursing Team Leader to join our Internal Medicine team at Greencross Vets in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinary nurse to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our dynamic and fast-paced medicine department.
About the Role
- This full-time position will see you leading our Internal Medicine nursing team, overseeing the daily operations and tasks of the department, and working closely with senior clinicians to ensure exceptional patient care.
- You will be responsible for coordinating appointments, procedures, and hospitalised patients, as well as supervising and developing the skills of junior nurses.
- A key aspect of this role will be communicating effectively with clients, referring veterinarians, and other healthcare professionals to provide outstanding customer service and support.
The Ideal Candidate
- We are looking for a certified veterinary nurse with a passion for internal medicine and a proven track record of leadership and teamwork.
- Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
- Prior experience in a referral hospital setting is preferred, but we are happy to provide training and development opportunities for the right candidate.
