Job Title: Trainer & Assessor-Agriculture

Our client, a leading producer in Australia, is seeking a skilled Trainer & Assessor-Agriculture to join their team. As a key member of their training department, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic training programs aimed at enhancing the skills of production personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide students in choosing training options and navigating enrolment procedures with prerequisites.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure accurate and complete student files for data reliability.
  • Lead engaging training sessions and assess student competence through placements for real-world readiness.
  • Enhance teaching expertise and knowledge through ongoing professional development.
  • Travel nationwide to deliver training sessions and expand program reach.
  • Implement best practices for a safe learning environment and minimise environmental impact.
  • Validate programs and develop learning materials to enhance student experiences.
  • Uphold high ethical standards in interactions with students and colleagues.
  • Adapt teaching approaches for diverse learning styles and ensure inclusivity.
Requirements:
  • Desired: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Preferred but not essential)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the animal industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with LMS systems, especially aXcelerate, is advantageous.
  • Current 'C' class Queensland driver's license.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse work environments.
  • Strong skills in training, time management, prioritisation, and customer communication.
