About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst to join our team at Simonds Group (Corporate). As a key member of our Financial Planning and Analysis team, you will be responsible for providing analysis, insights, and recommendations to management to drive and improve commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand key performance indicators and variance analysis to Budget
  • Develop and enhance tools to accurately forecast key commercial metrics.
  • Drive financial improvements by reporting on and providing insight into key financial targets for each business unit, focusing on key performance indicators.
  • Building effective and productive working relationships with the Senior Leadership team (SLT) and key functional Managers across the business.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated the following:

  • 3 plus years' relevant commercial finance experience
  • Experience in developing financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Experience in delivering financial and/or business analysis that is accurate, timely and insightful.
  • Experience reporting and presenting to diverse stakeholders, including regional operations and national management roles, executive leadership and/or the Board.
  • Business partnering experience in similar roles.
