We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the consistent delivery of quality products to our customers.
The successful candidate will support operational teams in monitoring effective QA practices, identifying and providing corrective and preventative actions as required.
Main responsibilities include:
- Ensuring operations conform to food safety regulations and quality systems requirements through partnering with production teams
- Documenting non-conformances and corrective action requirements within the parameters of the quality management system
- Supporting and implementing key food safety requirements and quality outcomes
- Undertaking quality internal audits, HACCP enquiries, and responding to customer complaints
- Ensuring all staff are aware and comply with the necessary requirements of our quality management systems
About You
- You must have experience in value-added or cooked products essential
- Quality assurance background in a food manufacturing environment, or internal audit qualifications & HACCP
- Operational experience in a meat processing facility
- A strong sense of accountability and responsibility
- Commitment to company values, and food safety culture
- Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Attention to detail, initiative, time management and follow-through
- Unlimited working rights within Australia
- Ability to work alongside a diverse workforce
