About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wind Engineer to lead our team of experts in delivering wind pre-construction and operational energy yield assessments, technical due diligence, power curve verification, and independent engineering for utility scale wind projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical designs and deliver projects
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in wind engineering, including scope and budget development, resource allocation, and stakeholder management
  • Lead a team of Wind Engineers to deliver high-quality results and meet client expectations
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to allocate resources, track budgets, and approve vendor requirements
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including project proposals and team efforts
Requirements
  • Relevant engineering degree from a recognized institution
  • Membership with Engineers Australia or eligibility for membership
  • Extensive experience in a Senior Wind Engineer or similar role, ideally in a consultancy
  • Proven ability to lead a successful team and possess strong analytical skills, report writing, and experience with wind engineering tools
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant IEC standards
