Visual Effects Project Manager

The role of the Visual Effects Project Manager is a critical one in delivering high-quality visual effects to clients. This involves overseeing a team of artists to produce complex computer-generated assets, setting up pipelines, and delivering final elements for shots.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of artists in producing CG assets and setting up working shot pipelines
  • Provide technical and creative leadership, ensuring clear communication between artists, production teams, and supervisors
  • Contribute to bidding and crewing for projects, offering feedback on crew and pipeline improvements
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Visual Effects Supervisor or Sequence Supervisor in high-end live-action VFX work
  • Excellent creative eye and aesthetic judgment
  • Ability to interpret clients' vision and relay it to internal teams
  • Expertise in Maya and proficiency in other industry-standard software

  • Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proven team leader with motivational qualities and initiative

Must-Have Qualities:

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
