About the Position: This role requires a skilled and experienced professional to join our Complex Care Team. You will work with a variety of different clients, of all age groups who will have complex trauma and behavioral support needs. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing, assisting and supporting clients in various locations such as houses, schools, hospitals, community centers and emergency accommodation on a daily basis.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support and guidance to clients to enable them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting

Key Requirements:

  • Qualification in Community Services (Cert IV)
  • Strong interest in youth work, mental health and the disability industry
  • Understanding of strength based trauma informed practice framework
  • Understanding of the NSW Child Safe Standards
  • Previous experience in residential therapeutic care and complex trauma highly regarded
  • Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
  • Ability to obtain a paid NSW Working with Children Check prior to commencement
  • Complete a National Criminal History Check (paid by Kirinari)
  • Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs
  • Smart Phone
  • Current Driver's Licence
