About the Role
The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Corporate Services Manager to join our team.
As a key member of our corporate services team, you will assist the Manager Corporate Services with the schools' financial performance, promotions, and public relations, human resources, school and student administration, and strategic operational input to the development of the school's workforce and business plans.
The ideal candidate will have developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns, process improvements, problems, and solutions. You will also have the ability to provide input to the development, implementation, and monitoring of business and strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager Corporate Services with the schools' financial performance, promotions, and public relations
- Provide input to the development, implementation, and monitoring of business and strategic plans
- Coordinate the provision of corporate services and operations
- Design and implement procedures and processes to ensure financial integrity, recording, compliance, and reporting requirements of the school business operations

Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated well-developed written communication, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal and negotiate with a wide range of individuals at all levels
- Demonstrated well-developed financial skills, including budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting, and the ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures
- Demonstrated considerable understanding of, and ability to apply, human resource management and customer service principles and practices
- Demonstrated ability to provide input to the development, implementation, and monitoring of business and strategic plans
- Demonstrated sound conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns, process improvements, problems, and solutions
