Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled healthcare professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centred care in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement goal-directed care plans that promote participation and independence for patients
  • Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient assessments, care plans, and progress
  • Participate in education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive team culture that values growth and contribution

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in rehabilitation nursing or a related field
  • Demonstrated competence in a clinical setting, preferably in the sub-acute setting
  • Ability to undertake full patient assessments and develop goal-based care plans
  • Proven ability to follow direction from experienced team members and provide guidance to students and inexperienced team members
