We are seeking a skilled sales professional to join our teams in our Gunnedah and Mullaley Branches on a full-time basis.

This role requires the ability to serve customers and assist other team members with branch and warehouse duties. Additionally, the person in this role will be required to undertake deliveries during busy periods to support the team in providing high customer service standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducting point-of-sale transactions and providing customers with product information to increase sales
  • Processing product orders as directed by the Branch Manager to ensure stock levels are maintained and customer needs are met
  • Maintaining the appearance of shop, store and yard areas
  • Loading/unloading of supplier and customer vehicles
  • Undertaking customer deliveries as required
  • Participating in stock take and inventory control as directed
  • Providing customer feedback to the Branch Manager to ensure industry trends and customer demands are met
  • Providing exceptional customer service in the branch by being approachable and knowledgeable about Company products and services

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the agricultural sector
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to forward plan
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of personal presentation and meet the physical requirements of the role
  • Valid driver's licence, class C and a sound knowledge of safety around vehicles
  • LF Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • LR (or Higher) Truck Licence Desirable (or willingness to obtain)
