About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team at Greencap. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in upholding quality control and assurance standards across key projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing construction plans and programs to ensure timely project delivery.
- Ensure site activities comply with safety requirements and regulations.
- Supervise site labor, equipment, and materials to maintain high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records focused on Quality Assurance and Control.
- Communicate progress to senior engineers and project managers.
- Apply engineering techniques and criteria to ensure project success.
- Assist in data interpretation, analysis, and evaluation to inform project decisions.
- Prepare specifications and quantities for review and approval.
- Contribute to tender preparation and reports.
- Analyze drawings and specifications to estimate costs and ensure budget management.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Drive cost control and budget management to achieve project goals.
- Collaborate with teams to achieve project success and deliver high-quality results.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience in construction management or site-based engineering.
- Medium to large civil infrastructure construction experience with a focus on Quality Control and Assurance.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to Occupational Health & Safety.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Experience in earthworks and liner installation (desirable).
- Valid manual driver's license.
