Plumbing Apprenticeship

A rewarding career in plumbing awaits.

You will work with experienced tradespeople, developing skills in:

  • Assisting with plumbing system installations, including pipes, fixtures, fittings, and appliances.
  • Diagnostics and repairs of plumbing issues like leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures.
  • Reading and understanding plumbing blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Pipe fitting tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes using methods like soldering, brazing, or welding.
  • Excavation and trenching work when needed to access underground plumbing systems.
  • Collaborating with a team of Electricians and Carpenters to coordinate tasks, communicate effectively, and ensure projects are completed efficiently.

You will also learn to:

  • Maintain plumbing materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring inventory is organized, tools are in good condition, and materials are safely stored and moved.
  • Follow safety protocols, regulations, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment, including wearing protective gear, following rules, and maintaining a safe workspace.

This apprenticeship provides a valuable learning experience, with increasing responsibilities as you gain knowledge and proficiency. You will develop a well-rounded skill set and gain the foundation needed to become a successful plumber.

To be considered, you must have:

  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in plumbing.
  • A current Driver's License and own reliable transportation.
  • Completed work experience is highly desirable.
  • Be physically fit, self-disciplined, and have high attention to detail.
  • Be reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to take direction and prioritize the safety of yourself and your team members.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow.
