Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at Bebee. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, greet patients, and handle phone calls and correspondence.
  • Scheduling and Appointments: Schedule patient appointments, manage calendars, and ensure timely and efficient appointment management.
  • Medical Records and Data Entry: Accurately enter patient information, medical records, and billing details into our electronic health record system.
  • Payment Processing and Refunds: Process patient payments, manage refunds, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to patient inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Support and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our medical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Completion of a certificate program in medical reception or a related field, and 2+ years of experience working as a medical receptionist in a specialist centre or general practice.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills, proficiency in operating electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office software, and good knowledge of medicare billing and private medical billing.
  • Personal Qualities: Compassionate, empathetic, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, working 16 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to travel to another room in Western Sydney once a week.
