Project Manager Opportunity

Join us in delivering impactful projects that drive positive outcomes for Indigenous Australians. As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

  • Lead Multiple Projects: Manage multiple large-scale research projects, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring timely completion of milestones.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with diverse partners, including Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations and international collaborators.
  • Research Support: Provide expert guidance on project management, contribute to the development of reports and presentations for various audiences.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain comprehensive project tracking registers.
Requirements

As an experienced project manager, you will bring excellent communication skills, capable of coordinating complex research initiatives and engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders in cross-disciplinary settings.

  • Hold a degree with relevant experience in project management, particularly in the higher education research sector.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of research infrastructure development and operation.
  • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrate strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Have experience in community engagement and an understanding of qualitative research methodologies.
  • Be willing to travel and work occasional hours outside of ordinary business hours.
