About the role

Mercy Community Aged Care Services is seeking passionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to support our residents in their daily lives. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and senior care team members to provide high-quality care and support to our residents.

Our Aged Care Facilities are designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our residents, with a focus on dignity, respect, and compassion. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our residents.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment for our residents
  • Assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to our residents
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in a resident's condition or behavior to the Registered Nurse
