About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Critical Projects Implementation team in Amazon Web Services. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the execution of critical infrastructure improvement projects within our operational data centers in Sydney and Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate project activities, including planning, execution, and delivery
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and vendor management
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a data center or critical infrastructure environment
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Strong technical knowledge of power distribution and data center mechanical cooling systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
