Electrical Maintenance Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform electrical repairs and maintenance on our plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and plant equipment in compliance with relevant standards.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to production breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks and support planned work orders.
  • Program and diagnose faults on PLC's and MCC control rooms.
  • Assist with upgrades, installations, and electrical project work.
  • Analyze root causes of equipment failure and implement preventive solutions.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, and the workplace to high safety and cleanliness standards.
Requirements
  • Current Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic License.
  • Strong experience in an industrial maintenance environment, preferably in a food or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
