This apprenticeship is designed for individuals who can work in a hot environment and possess reliability. While previous experience is not necessary, some exposure to industry practices would be highly regarded.

As an apprentice, your tasks will involve grinding, welding, utilizing thermal cutting equipment, and employing fabrication techniques to assemble, repair, and construct various metal or steel products. You will also utilize both hand tools and electrical equipment. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop, while adhering to all policies and procedures with a primary focus on workplace health and safety (WHS).

You will have the opportunity to become a qualified trades person in the metal fabrication field and earn your Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (Boilermaking/Welding).

The successful candidate will be respectful, have excellent communication skills, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and an understanding of tools. They must be punctual, reliable, safety conscious, willing to work, listen, and learn. A reliable vehicle and current driver's license are also required.
