We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Lounge Host to join our team at Pullman Hotels Sydney Olympic Park. As an Executive Lounge Host, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional guest service and ensuring that our VIP guests have an outstanding experience.
Key Responsibilities- Greeting and Welcoming Guests: Greet and welcome VIP and Executive-level guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and personalized welcome.
- Providing Information and Assistance: Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation, as well as assist with food and beverage service, ensuring that all items are fresh, stocked, and presented to the highest standard.
- Handling Guest Inquiries and Requests: Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, ensuring their satisfaction at all times.
- Maintaining a Clean and Welcoming Environment: Monitor lounge cleanliness and coordinate with the housekeeping staff to maintain a pristine environment.
- Assisting with Events and Special Services: Assist with the setup and breakdown of lounge events or special services, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
- Recording and Responding to Guest Feedback: Record and respond to guest feedback to enhance service delivery.
- Managing Guest Check-ins and Check-outs: Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Assisting with Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative duties such as guest reservations, lounge inventory, and billing processes.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a luxury hotel or lounge setting.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively with high-profile guests and team members.
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor; ability to handle guest requests and complaints with tact and courtesy.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail, particularly in maintaining high service and presentation standards.
- Multitasking Ability: Capable of managing multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment while maintaining calm and efficiency.
- Team Player: Ability to work well with others, collaborate across departments, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Flexibility: Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as required by the needs of the lounge.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages, particularly those relevant to international guests, is a plus.
