Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced software development professional to join our Platform Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable cloud infrastructure that supports hundreds of thousands of end users.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of concepts like availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency, as well as experience with data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

  • Design and Develop Cloud Infrastructure: Utilize a wide range of technologies to create scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineers and other teams to identify and prioritize new features and functionality.
  • Contribute to Team Growth: Mentor and share knowledge with other engineers to contribute to the growth and development of the engineering team.
Requirements
  • Previous Industry Experience: Previous industry software development experience is required.
  • Strong Understanding: A strong understanding of concepts like availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency is necessary.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language and comfort with Object-Oriented programming concepts is required.
  • Databases and Cloud Computing: Experience with SQL databases and public cloud computing offerings is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written communication skills are necessary.
