Job Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to take up the role of Senior Investment Research Analyst. This position is based in Sydney or Melbourne and involves conducting comprehensive research and rating of Australian and New Zealand equity strategies.

  • The role requires an individual with strong analytical skills to conduct research and rate equity strategies using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing clear, concise investment due diligence reports supporting research ratings and presenting findings to internal committees and clients.
  • Collaboration with global research teams on projects, process improvements, and producing investment analysis and white papers is also expected.
  • The candidate will represent the company within the investment management community, articulating the research process and investment views to clients and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting broader team activities and contributing to maintaining the company's reputation as a leader in investment research is also required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in the investment management industry is preferred.
  • A strong background in analytical skills, enabling the ability to make decisions based on qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Excellent report writing skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, confident in engaging with investment managers and challenging their strategies.
