Vegetation Program Director

SA Power Networks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vegetation Management Professional to lead the delivery of our vegetation management programs. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of our operations while driving a positive team culture and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the financial and operational management of vegetation programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership to the vegetation work group, promoting a vision and culture that drives productivity and business success.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to schedule and prioritise work programs that meet business obligations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external customers, and contractors to improve customer service and ensure compliance.
- Monitor and manage contractor performance to ensure work is delivered safely, meets quality standards, and complies with contractual requirements.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in vegetation management practices.
- Proven experience in managing operational programs, preferably in vegetation management or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive team performance.
- Knowledgeable about regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement.
- Focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
