About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Barista to join our team at YOU HAD ME AT HELLO. As a Gun Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality specialty coffee drinks and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages and pour-overs.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of coffee roasts, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
  • Consistently produce high-quality latte art and ensure beverage presentation meets our standards.
  • Monitor coffee bean inventory and communicate with management to ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Provide attentive and personalized service to customers, responding to their needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up equipment and restocking supplies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Barista, with a strong focus on specialty coffee.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of coffee roasts, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
