We are seeking a talented Technical Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Cyber Security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our ICT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical security advice and inform technical security decisions to ensure ASIO's ICT solutions are fit-for-purpose, secure by design, and aligned to ASIO's requirements.
- Manage ASIO's security engineering principles, standards, and practices.
- Contribute to the delivery of ASIO's Cyber Security Strategy and strategic vision.
- Promote, enable, and provide specialist security advice on the design and architecture of new and emerging systems.
- Govern system design to ensure conformance with industry and government security frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments against vulnerabilities and threats to determine the security controls to proactively remediate and reduce security risks and concerns.
- Closely collaborate with technical specialists across ASIO and domestic and international partners to ensure the secure design and implementation of ASIO's technology ecosystem.
- Proven track record and professional history in cyber security engineering.
- Knowledge of information security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), security architecture concepts, cloud security, and Dev Sec Ops.
- Solid understanding of AWS security architecture concepts and knowledge and experience with cloud services.
- Experienced in the design, implementation, and/or maintenance of enterprise systems.
- Strong security awareness and risk management skills.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and technologies.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to lead the delivery of secure outcomes in complex scenarios.
