Steel Reinforcement Bar Operator

Prestons, New South Wales, Australia is a major hub for steel reinforcement bar production and distribution. A prominent manufacturer and distributor in the area is seeking experienced Steel Reinforcement Bar Operators to join their team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for operating machinery such as shearers and benders, and will have the opportunity to work with a variety of steel products.
Key Responsibilities:- Operating heavy machinery including shearers and benders
- Handling and loading/unloading of steel products
- Overhead crane operation
- General housekeeping and maintenance of equipment
- Experience in heavy manufacturing or a related field
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Own transport essential for commuting to work
- Punctuality and reliability are essential for this role
