Job Opportunity

My client is a well-established switchboard manufacturer located approximately 25 minutes' drive south of Perth. They are seeking multiple electricians for long-term positions and are willing to provide visa sponsorship to suitable applicants.

Work Details

The roles involve working minimum 38 hours per week, with up to 60 hours available on overtime and applicable penalty rates. After a three-month period, the opportunity to work a 9 day fortnight is available, resulting in a minimum of 76 hours over two weeks.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, applicants must:

  • Hold a West Australian electrical license or be willing to obtain one;
  • Have reliable transportation to commute to and from the workshop each day; and
  • Have a minimum of four years' experience in industrial wiring or previous switchboard manufacturing experience.

Upon successful completion of a three-year service period, applicants may be eligible to apply for employer-nominated permanent residency, subject to terms and conditions.

Applicants will be paid at various rates based on their qualifications:

  1. Trades assistants: $35 per hour;
  2. Provisionally licensed electricians: $40 per hour; and
  3. Fully licensed electricians: $45 per hour.
